When a photographer captures the most evocative moments, it's like (chef’s kiss) magic! Emily Choy, a brilliant photographer on Oahu who specializes in elopements, engagements and intimate weddings captured not one but two beautiful elopements up on Pālehua Ridge at Hawaii’s famed architect, Vladimir Ossipoff’s Pālehua Cabin. Here is one couple from that day that was featured in Hawaii Wedding Style.  (I'll share the other in a next post!)

The cabin, originally Ossipoff’s personal retreat built in the 1950’s, sits high above the sea nestled in the Wai‘anae Mountains and has been lovingly restored over the past several years as part of an effort to raise awareness to the need to preserve native Hawaiian ecology on the leeward side of the island.

Emily captured beautiful moments with her couples against the misty backdrop and hauntingly beautiful charm of this very special place. Here are just a few moments from that day.
