A Colorful Lou Lou Palm Wedding with Jenn + Dennis

Jenn and Dennis’s wedding finally happened! They were one of my COVID couples so seeing their day finally come together as they wished was so special. Having originally planned for their wedding to take place just as the pandemic was starting, they had to reschedule and when they did, it was their best day ever! They had their families, friends and loved ones gather for the day at the beautiful Lou Lou Palms Estate on the North Shore of Oahu.

For Jenn and Dennis, they wanted fun tropical touches and color to celebrate their day. Pineapples were requested by the groom and color by the bride so handstrung modern carnation and orchid lei draped on pineapples lined their ceremony and purple orchids, pincushion and mink protea, tropical greenery and orchids and anthuriums adorned their arch and tables. Most of the tropicals were grown in Hawaii and traditional Hawaiian lei were provided by their families or from the local lei shops on the island. The florals that decorated their reception tables were able to be taken home by guests at the end of the night to be propagated and to be further enjoyed.

Jenn also wanted her bridesmaids to each have a haku lei so florals in the same color palette were chosen to make each bridesmaid a haku lei. They were all slightly different in colors and floral combinations. She also gifted each of them with a beautiful handwoven clutch, which I thought was such a cool alternative from having them hold a bridesmaid's bouquet.

It was a full day of love, fun and celebration for the sweetest couple!
