A Downtown Honolulu Wedding at Cafe Julia

Weddings simply radiate love and magic and Leina’ala and Alex’s celebration at the historic Cafe Julia in downtown Honolulu was no exception. In fact, their wedding was so filled with aloha that the energy was palpable and truly transformed their day into one to remember.
Their venue, Cafe Julia, is a historic building in downtown Honolulu. Its architect, Julia Morgan was one of only a handful of woman architects in America during the 1920’s and the first female architect in Hawaii when she first began designing the building. Morgan is best known for designing the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. Cafe Julia's beautiful architecture lends to a naturally elegant and timeless feel.
Step outside of Cafe Julia’s courtyard and into the hustle and bustle of Honolulu’s downtown district. Across from I‘olani palace, the couple took sunset portraits of just the two of them after the ceremony. I loved flowering this wedding for this sweet and radiant couple!
