Turtle Bay Wedding with Madison + George

Bride and Groom on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii

This wedding was one of my favorites as it featured the extremely gorgeous and fragrant yet fleeting and fragile pikake (jasmine)! Luckily, we were in the perfect season as pikake had just started to bloom on the island and for that short amount of time, perfectly abundant.

In Hawaii, pikake is treasured for weddings and our bride, having grown up on Oahu, had requested pikake featured in her wedding. Instead of wearing a traditional pikake lei, at her request, I designed a trailing bouquet of orchids and pikake strands. For her hair, we added stephanotis blooms so that she was wrapped in a fragrant aura of jasmine.

Guests were treated to live Hawaiian music and performances of Tahitian dance and hula framed by the beautiful backdrop of the North Shore of Oahu at the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort.

It was so clear to see how in love Madison and George were and how excited they were for their wedding day.  Cheers to this lovely couple!
