A Pinterest-worthy DIY Wedding

A Northshore wedding with family and friends

Taylor and her now-husband Cobian are of the many talented photographers and videographers you'll find on Oahu. When Taylor reached out to see if I would make her bouquet, I was flattered! Having worked with Taylor in the past, it was so fun to talk flowers with her again as she planned out her beautiful wedding at home on the North Shore of Oahu.

Taylor shared the feeling she wanted – a natural, loose and free style arrangement. After careful consideration from getting to know Taylor and her love of nature, her style and floral preferences, I designed a bouquet in her palette of greens and white florals using perfectly shaped Avalanche roses and spray roses from Holland, peonies from Oregon and gentiana (originally a wildflower found in prairies in North America from a flower family popular in perfume-making), bay laurel and fern.

I loved seeing the captures of her big day and how her vision came to fruition with the help of her friends and family. It's one of the reasons why I love DIY so much. Every part of the day becomes all the more special as you and your loved ones participate in bringing it all together.
